Connecting a Stripe account to your Pathwright account allows you to process payments and deposit your earnings directly to your bank. Once you've connected a Stripe account, you can disconnect it or reconnect it at any time.
If you've already started collecting payments via Stripe, disconnecting will disrupt your payments, so if you're considering switching to another Stripe account or another payment method, please consider the following.
Here are instructions for disconnecting your current Stripe account. Please note that disconnecting Stripe will disable your ability to collect new payments for your courses or subscription plans.
While logged into your Pathwright account, select "Settings" from the main menu.
Select "Enable commerce," then "Commerce is activated."
You'll see a button to "Disconnect Stripe." Select the button, and follow through any prompts to confirm.
If you're no longer using Stripe, you can continue offering your courses for free, or keep your courses private or members-only and accept payment outside of Pathwright.
Reconnect a Stripe account
Here are instructions for reconnecting the same Stripe account that you have used previously:
First, make sure you are logged into the Stripe account that you wish to reconnect. Pathwright will connect to whatever Stripe account you are currently logged into and have open in your browser.
Next, while logged into your Pathwright account, select "Settings" from the main menu.
Select "Enable commerce," and you'll see a button to "Connect Stripe." Select the button, and follow through any prompts to confirm.
If you have multiple schools connected to the same Stripe account, reconnecting just one school will reconnect all of them.
Connect a different Stripe account
We currently support only one Stripe account connect per Pathwright account. Before connecting a new Stripe account, you will need to disconnect your current account.
Please note that if you have already started collecting payments for courses or subscription plans on your previous Stripe account, connecting a different Stripe account may cause errors with repeat customers or cause subscription plans to stop functioning. Please contact us before switching to a different account so we can help with the transition.
