Whether you offer Paths for free or a fee, each of your learners starts with an implicit question: "Why is taking this worth my time and energy?" The new Cover Pages feature helps you make a more interesting, persuasive pitch.
Cover Pages are in beta, and we'll test and enhance them based on performance and your feedback. While in beta, you can turn on a preview for your Learning Space's Administrators and Library Editors to review and test them for your courses. You can also choose to launch this feature for everyone in your learning space.
Cover Page Highlights
• Showcase your brand and create a unique look for each course using a banner-style header image.
• Let your Path speak for itself with the embedded preview. Now, any Steps you configure to be previewable appear as preview cards on the Cover Page. They're like "Product Shots" for your Path.
• Add interactive elements like contributors or a video trailer to help learners more easily browse and compare.
• Use the new immersive view to link to a specific Cohort, a key Contributor, or a video preview so path-shoppers can navigate it like a keynote presentation.

How to Preview your Cover Pages
To preview Cover Pages, visit Space Settings > Configure features & integrations > Labs: Try out new features > Cover Pages and use the options presented to toggle on (or toggle off) the preview.
💡 Tip: Turning on the preview will not change anything your learners or members see. They'll continue to see your current About Pages. Turning on preview simply adds a new button for Administrators and Library Editors to click to preview the new Cover Page.
Once you've turned on the Preview feature, any Administrator or Library Editor can visit an About Page and tap the new "Cover Page" button in the top right of the header to view the Cover Page:
How to maximize the new look of Cover Pages
We've designed the first version of Cover Pages to use only existing content from About Pages. So you don't have to update any content or settings before they're launched.
However, Cover Pages offer new, more engaging ways to make a pitch and provide a timely opportunity to enhance your pitch pages.
💡 Tip: Changes you make to Cover Page images, content, or settings will also improve your current About pages until they're replaced, so it's a win-win for old and new!
To begin customizing your Cover Page, click on the "Edit Cover Page" icon on the far right:
This will open up an editing panel where you can make changes and see them applied instantly to your Cover Page:
1) Header: Edit the title, cover image, background image, trailer, and summary
When you select "Edit title, images...," you'll be able to change your Path title and update your Cover image. The Cover image is what your learners will see when browsing your library.
By default, Path backgrounds use a blurred version of the Cover Image. However, you can make a much more interesting, unique visual impact by uploading a custom background image for each Path.

2) Format your path overview for easy scanning
Cover Pages use similar text formatting options to current About Pages, but while you're updating your pages, it's worth reviewing and enhancing your path descriptions. For example:
Use subheadings (like "Header 3") to break your description into scannable sections (e.g., "Who this path is for")
Use bullets or numbered lists to outline key skills they'll learn or benefits they'll gain.
Include block quotes with testimonials or to highlight key points.
If it's tone-appropriate, use emoticons to add more interest and highlight key elements.
3) Make your best steps previewable.
While your Path outline is automatically previewable, you can enhance the preview by configuring the most interesting, best Steps in your Path to be previewable as well. Any Steps set to allow previewing now show up as "preview cards" for potential learners to review before joining.
4) Create an Offer by making a closing pitch with your Cohort description
Available public Cohorts display as Offers on the Cover Page and present a high-value opportunity to make a closing pitch. We recommend adding a short description for each Cohort that highlights what learners will receive. For example:
✨ Bonus feature: Enable Member Created Cohorts (shown above) so anyone can take their own small group, team, or organization through the training you've designed.

You can configure your Cohort's description, visibility, pricing, and more.
Open your Cohort and select the three dots (...) at the top of the course Path directly under the name of the Path. This will open a menu with additional options.
Select "Configure Cohort" from the menu.
Edit the Cohort description
📝 Note: only Cohorts that have their visibility set to members or public appear on Cover Pages. Private Cohorts will not display and require a private link or invite to join.
5) Add contributors to make the pitch more personal and credible.
Like a book or an event, the primary selling point of any learning experience is the person or people who create it. In an era where digital tools are becoming increasingly impersonal, simply showing helpful faces on your page, even if it's just a Path for your team, makes joining that much more compelling.
We recommend adding the names, pictures, and short bios of each person who contributes, whether they're the author, lecturer, or facilitator.
6) Add Categories to surface other Path options.
If you offer a Library of courses for learners to consider, categorizing them not only helps them browse more easily but also adds a "More in..." section at the footer of your Cover Page that presents additional options if the current course they're considering isn't the right fit.
Additionally, learners can click the "next" arrow to the right of a Cover Page to view the next path in the category without returning to the Library.
