The Member Directory is a friendly, year-book-like grid of all the people in your Cohort: learners, teachers, etc.

You'll find the Member Directory under the Community tab of your course. You can make it visible to only staff members on your account or visible to everyone, including your learners.

Each member has a "Member Profile Card" that includes:

  • A profile picture or initials

  • First name & last initial (full names aren't shown to anyone but staff members)

  • Location if they chose to enter it

  • A short "about me" section if they chose to enter it.

Tip: to encourage learners to connect with each other, many educators create an "Introduce yourself" step in the path that prompts each member to personalize their profile and includes a discussion prompt where everyone can share a little more about themselves or goals for the course.
