Why do the same work over and over? Now you can instantly duplicate steps or even entire lessons with just two clicks.

How to use instant copy & paste for steps and lesson

  1. Open the Path that you'd like to copy from. You can copy to the same Path, another existing Path, or create and paste to a new Path.*

  2. Select the copy icon to the right of the lesson or step you'd like to copy.

  3. Now, locate where you'd like to paste the content. If you copied a lesson, you'll see a highlighted "paste" icon to the right of the "Add another lesson" area. If you copied a step, you'll see the paste icon to the right of the "Add a step..." option.

  4. Once you know where you want to paste, just select the paste icon. Voilá! You've just copied & pasted ✨.

💡 Tip: you can easily copy & paste between different Paths by opening them in two browser tabs and copying and pasting between them.

Here's what it looks like in action:

To cancel a copied item without pasting it, select the X icon to clear your clipboard.

A few ideas for using copy & paste for lessons and steps

  • Build a multi-lesson Path more quickly by copy & pasting the first lesson as a starter template for all the other lessons. (This is especially helpful if you happen to be building or editing on your phone.)

  • Remix lessons and steps from other Paths to make a customized Path for a particular group of learners.

  • Create a "template" that includes examples of the flow and formatting you use for your lessons and steps across all Paths. Then start new Paths more quickly (and more consistently) by copying & pasting from your template.

*For those using multiple cohorts, we do not recommend copying content from one Cohort Path into the Source Path, as this will result in duplicate content on the Cohort Path. Sync the content instead. Please contact us us if you have any questions about this.
