Q. Can I allow my learners to upload videos?
A. Yes, learners can submit all files, including video files, via the Submit Block or post them to discussions.Ā
Q. Why doesn't my video look the way I expect it to?
A. Here are some troubleshooting tips:Ā
Videos have a maximum width defined by their inherent resolution. Gray borders will appear on the edges if the video cannot fill its container's width.
We limit video height (600px) to avoid users having to scroll too far, especially on mobile devices. If the video is tall and narrow (such as a video taken on a mobile phone in portrait mode), this may also prevent the video from filling its max width on medium and large screens.
In the Media Manager, videos will often look zoomed in (ie, some parts may be hidden) in order to fit within the square preview. Don't worry, this will not affect how the video renders in the step.
