Say hello to your new home screen: a cleaner (and calmer!) way to navigate Pathwright that gives you more control over what to focus on.
Instead of jumping between different modes and menus to find what you need, everything you're actively working on now lives in one streamlined view. Whether you're learning, teaching, or designing, you can now see all your Paths at a glance, move your priorities to the top, and tuck away any Paths you don't need right now.
Highlights
See all the paths you’re learning, teaching, or designing on one simple screen — no more navigating between Design, Teach, Groups, etc.
Set aside Paths you’re not currently focused on without archiving them or losing your progress.
Move the Paths you’re focused on to the top.
Add a new or existing Path quickly, without leaving your Home Screen.
Simpler navigation — now your personal and learning space settings are quicker to get to and more out of the way.
How to use the new home screen & navigation
For adminstrators
For adminstrators
You can see all the paths you're enrolled in—whether that's as a moderator, teacher, or designer—as well as your mentor groups, all in one place on your home screen. You can also:
Use the "+Add Path" button to add a new or existing path to focus on.
Use the more options (...) menu to move a path to the top, set it aside, or access path and cohort settings.
Use the right-hand menu to access your notifications, your personal library of set-aside courses, your personal settings, all groups, and a changelog with any Pathwright updates.
Use the left-hand menu to navigate to the learning space library or your learners' help page; access your admin dashboard, learning space settings, and community; get help from the Pathwright Guidance team; or sign out.
Since all paths are now in one place, here's how to differentiate between the different kinds of path enrollments (learner, moderator, teacher, and designer) you might have:
A path in which you're enrolled in as a learner or moderator has a "start" or "resume" button.
A path in which you're enrolled in as a moderator or teacher has your avatar and the name of the cohort you're teaching.
A path in which you're enrolled as a designer has a dropdown menu including all cohorts and the source path so you can navigate to any version of the path you'd like to work on.

How to preview the new Home Screen
The new Home Screen is polished and functional, but incomplete — it’s still partially in “the Labs.”
While we’re fine-tuning and enhancing it, you can make it previewable for your Admins, all Staff (Admins, course editors, library editors, teacher, mentor, group admins...), or everyone under account settings > Configure features & integrations > Labs: Try out new features:
Keep in mind that features may change when the Home Screen is fully launched.
FAQ
Where did design mode go?
All your Paths—whether you're learning, teaching, or designing—now appear on one screen. You no longer need to switch modes:
When will the Home Screen Launch for everyone?
While we haven’t set a “hard launch” date for when the new Home Screen will switch for everyone, you’ll have at least 3 months from October 1st, 2026, to preview it and let your members preview it before the switch is officially made for all staff and learners.
The exact launch date will be determined by your feedback and suggestions. Please share your feedback here or using the chat.
How should we update any training we provide that references the old Home Screen?
If you’ve used screenshots, videos, or Paths to onboard your members to Pathwright, it will be helpful to update those to reflect the new design.
The new Home Screen is simple enough that most learners will have no trouble adapting to it — most won’t even have to think about it.
For staff members who are used to switching between Paths <> People and different modes (Design, Teach, Learn,...), the new home screen is far simpler but a more significant navigation change. For those who are change-averse, they’ll benefit from more detailed instruction and time to preview it.
